Happy Halloween 2007

Brian as Davy Jones for the tunnel of terror.
Zombie Bryce - he would lie on a table as if dead then come to life when people walked by.
Zombie Kim - She was a dead girl still swinging on a swing.

Bradley is ready to trunk or treat.
Check out those muscles!
Bryce with friend Jayden Udy.
Brett got to drive this car around the park giving trailer rides to the kids in the park.
Brett with friends Austin Mickelson & Josh Asay.

Kim at her 2nd grade Halloween Program - can you find her in the front row?
Bryce at his Halloween class party I was in charge of.
Princess Kim ready to tackle the world.
Princess Kylie in her favorite dress.
Have you ever seen a cuter princess on her horse?

I'm exhausted! I was at the school almost all day. Then it was trunk or treating at the park, followed by trick or treating, and then the Sevy's haunted backyard where Kim and Bryce were Zombies, followed by more trick or treating.

The kids all have so much candy, even Kylie. Kylie loved trunk or treating, she was unsure at first but after a few cars she would run to the next one and hold out her bucket.

Brett and Bryce had their first chance to trick or treat alone with friends...yikes! This paranoid mom is sure grateful for cell phones.

Kim headed off with 3 friends to go trick or treating and Kylie, Bradley & I had fun trick or treating at our own pace.

Brian was in charge of a "tunnel of terror" at the trunk or treat with the priest in the ward.

It was a great but exhausting day. Definitely time for bed!

Pumpkin Carving

Our Family Home Evening Activity tonight was pumpkin carving. The kids all did their own pumpkin designs (except Kylie who doesn't care yet).

Crazy Hair Day

It was Red Ribbon Week this past week. Both the middle school and the elementary school had different things going on each day. From wearing their pajamas to school, to wearing mixed up clothes, from hats to crazy hair day. I was in trouble for not buying hair dye this year but we did the best we could with what we had!

Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Kylie loved these flowers
Brett, Bryce & Bradley posing with their pumpkins.
The rule was they could pick any pumpkin they wanted as long as they could carry it.
Inside the corn maze. We had to find our way to the flag at the other end. Not too hard if you stuck to the "well beaten path" but the kids liked to take the not so well beaten path.
Family picute with their pumpkins.
We had to wait for the trailer to come back and get us. They had this cute photo spot we took advantage of while we were waiting.
Say Cheese!
Kimberly and her pumpkin.

They let the kids sit up on the tractor for a picture. What a cutie Kim is. It won't be too long before Brett will be old enough to drive!
Look Mom, No Hands!
Bryce having a try too.

Look at me!

We had a blast at the Staheli Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze last night. I think we'll have to make it an annual tradition!

Bryce Gets His Bear

Bryce received his Bear award on Sunday night as well as 3 arrow points. He has fabulous scout leaders. We're proud of him. Way to go Bryce!

3 more weeks gone by

Amazing that 3 weeks has gone by with no posts & no pictures on this blog. Time gets away from me sometimes. Our camera has become very tempermental so I haven't had many pictures lately. We went to our first circus 2 1/2 weeks ago. We had a great time and loved the elephants. The kids and I traveled up to Idaho for the sealing of Tim & Kristen's baby Amelia. We went from warm weather down here to SNOW up there. It was freezing. It was a quick trip but all went well. Richard and Glenda came to town for one night last weekend. We enjoyed a quick visit with them and were able to celebrate Glenda's brithday. The kids just had Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off from school this week for fall break. We didn't do any traveling...just a couple movies, a hike and a trip to blue bunny for ice cream.
