I am a Loyal Stephenie Meyer Fan!!!

For those who know me I'm sure it will come as no surprise that I am a loyal Stephenie Meyer Fan (perhaps the word Fanatic might be a better description). I've been to book signings, help run a fansite and am headed to Forks in a couple weeks on a Twilight trip. Meeting Stephenie in person earlier this year was definately a highlight of my year. I love everything she has written. If you asked me my favorite books it would be an easy list to come up with and on the top would be Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn & The Host. Of course there would be others on that list: Jane Eyre, Beauty, the Harry Potter Series and a handful of others. But Stephenie Meyer's books all top my list.
With the release of Breaking Dawn there has been a backlash of a vocal minority of readers who didn't like her book and are consequently making personal attacks on Stephenie, including releasing a stolen draft of her next book Midnight Sun on the internet.
The silent majority of her fans are now uniting to show Stephenie Meyer our support. Thanks to Stephenie Meyer for creating such wonderful books!

First Day of School

We were all excited for school to start this year although the summer flew by!


How in the world did I get old enough to have a teenager? Brett started 8th grade which means we only have 5 years left with him at home! Yikes time sure does fly by!

Kimberly is now 8 and starting 3rd grade. She is so excited for school to start. She is a sweetie!

What is Kylie going to do all day with everyone else at school all day? She is 2 and thinks she's a big kid and wants to go to school too.

This is Bryce's last year of elelmentary school. He's 10 and one of the top dog at school now because 5th grade is the last year of elementary school here.

Have you ever seen anyone this excited to start school. Bradley is 6 and heading into 1st grade.

The kids said I needed my picture taken too. I'm excited to be back on a schedule!

Breaking Dawn is finally here!

I've read Breaking Dawn! The long awaited for Book 4 of the Twilight Series was released at 12:01 this morning. By 12:15 a.m. I was home and reading my book. It was a blast texting and calling my friend Rhonda who was also up all night reading. I made it until 7:30 this morning when I just couldn't keep my eyes open any longer and I was reading so slowly it was pointless to continue. I got 2 hours of sleep and then finished the book as quickly as possible with 5 kids all wanting my attention. I made it through spoiler free and thoroughly enjoyed the book!


Thanks Stephenie Meyer for being such an amazing storyteller and an even more amazing person!
