Toothfairy Coming

4 Days before her 5th birthday Kylie lost her first tooth. Well that's not exactly true, she had a molar that was abscessed that the dentist had to pull but that doesn't count. First teeth are worth $5 in this house. She didn't want to put it under her pillow because she wanted to take it to preschool for show and tell. I assured her the tooth fairy would pay up and let her keep her tooth for show and tell.

Trunk or Treat & Halloween Night

Since Halloween is on a Sunday and we live in Utah we celebrate Halloween on Saturday night. We went to the annual Trunk or Treat at the park across the street and then the kids went trick or treating. The younger kids ended up back at our house with their friends to watch How to Train Your Dragon.

There is a great house in St. James where someone dresses up like Santa Claus and gives out ice cream cones.

A whole lot of candy trading going on.

I'm one to just let them eat all their candy as quick as they can and be done with it. They've all made a huge dent in their candy pile already.

Pumpkin Carving

My least favorite part of Halloween. I hate the feel of pumpkin slime. Thankfully Brian enjoys carving pumpkins with the kids so I get away with taking pictures.

Staheli Farms

We took our annual trek out to Staheli Farms for a Family Night. We usually go with the elementary school but the night they had scheduled got rained out so we went on our own. Pizza at Hungry Howies followed by a couple hours spent having fun on the farm.
Redneck Trampoline
Bull Roping
Brett didn't like the "farm" smell.
The kids love this horse ride.

Pig Races

Then out to the Corn Maze.

Kylie's Halloween Party

Kylie has a Halloween Party at Preschool She was very particular on what Tinkerbell could wear. This is her final costume.

Storytelling Festival

Kim & Brad told stories at the storytelling festival at the elementary school on Wednesday.

We forgot out flip video so tried to take video on an old camera. Not very good quality.

Family Night - Trunk or Treating

For Family Home Evening we went down to a Trunk or Treat in a parking lot near Wal-Mart. Kim & Kylie dressed up as boys, Bradley was a ninja and the rest of us we as ourselves.

A good start on their pile of candy and one slice of pizza per person that didn't fill anyone up so we had to run through the drive through for more food.

Caught a bunny!

We caught one of the baby bunnies and the kids were able to hold it. They were so excited!

Bradley gets his Wolf

At Pack Meeting on Wednesday night Bradley received his Wolf Badge. Way to go Brad! I'm not sure why the picture is so yellow. I do know why Bradley's hair is sticking straight up, it was crazy hair day at school.

Crazy Hair Day

Red Ribbon week at the elementary school means it's Crazy Hair Day for Brad & Kim.

Too bad Bryce's School isn't doing crazy hair day... he's been growing his hair long and was hoping to have a crazy hair day so he could cut only part of it off.

More Bunnies

We think we only have 3 bunnies. We've seen a black one and 2 white ones. Although no one has seen the black one for quite a while and the neighbor's cat is stalking the bunny cage so perhaps we are back to 2 bunnies...

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

No time for cake and ice cream on grandpa's birthday since we were gone from 6:30 am until midnight, so we celebrated with cake and ice cream today. I'm lucky to have such a wonderful father! Happy Birthday Dad.
