Pioneer Day 2010

This morning was our stakes annual Pioneer Day Celebration. A breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes, sausage and fruit was followed by games, water activities, crafts and a lot of hot sun.

The kids had fun on the huge water slides.

Not sure what these boys are doing?

Snow cones to help keep cool.
Then a firetruck came a sprayed everyone to cool them off.

All wet and cool and ready to help clean up.

Pioneer Day

We went to a huge Stake Pioneer Celebration. They recreated a pioneer town, had a parade and fed everyone. Easily 1000 people! There were lots of games and the kids had a blast. When we got home we lit off fireworks in the street.

Kylie Celebrates the 24th of July

It's hard to tell by the look on her face but Kylie liked Sparklers. She held 3 or 4 of them and kept wanting more. Of course you can tell by the look on her face that the balloon was her favorite!
