Kim's Backward's Party

Kimberly had a backward's party for her 8th birthday! We had a house full of girls. They seemed to have a good time! We tried to do things backwards! Everyone wore their clothes backwards, we cut the cake then frosted it...

Court of Honor

Brian earned his Heart of Scouting Award and Brett advanced in scouting and received 4 merit badges! Way to go Scouters!

Our Princess

Kylie and I were shopping at Wal-mart and she had to have this pretty dress! Sunday morning we played Princess Beauty Parlor and did her hair. This is the first time all her hair was long enough to be in one ponytail.

So apparently I have been spending too much time on the computer. Well really no apparently about it. We were watching a familiy movie tonight and I snuck into the office to spend a few minutes catching up on email only to find my computer had been turned off and a sign was hanging on it! It was Brett! I got a good laugh and went back out to watch the movie with the familiy!

I'm really not much of a practical joker...I like to surprise people but not in a mean kind of way.

I have 3 sets of them. One set is silver & the other 2 our typical glass with siler lids.

Where is the next place you plan to visit (on vacation or business)?
Heading to California in 2 weeks to visit my dad.

What kind of lotion or cream do you use to keep your hands from getting too dry?
I rarely use lotion! When I do I use Cetaphil moisturing cream.

Hmmm, I like lots of desserts but I'm not very good at making them up on my own. It would have chocolate & raspberries, or chocolate & caramel in it!

All other things (like price and storage space) being equal, given a choice in a perfect world, would you rather have paperbacks in your library? Or hardcovers? And why?
I would have to say hardcovers since given the choice between paperback & hardcovered at the library I always choose hardbacks. They are more sturdy and seem to hold up better than paperbacks.

I live vicariously through the lives of others.

Can I just tell you what a crazy day today was! At 3:04 today I get a call from my friend Rhonda telling me she has just left the set of the Twilight movie and has pictures!
Holy Crow that is big news! No one has pictures with the actors who are going to be in the movie and she got them! It was an long 3 hours until she got home, got the pictures uploaded and was able to get them posted on our twilightmoms site. What a fun afternoon!

Finally! Pictures of the Cullens!

So the good news of the day is that Summit finally released a picture of the Cullen family! That is cause for celebration and a lot of laughs due to the lame wig they put on Jasper! Yeah, yeah I know I'm crazy! But I'm lovin every minute of it!

Kimberly turns 8 years old!

Today was a big day at our house! Kimberly Anne turned 8! She will be baptized on March 1st! She is really growing up fast! Being 8 at our house means you get the fact or fiction talk! I took her shopping last night and she picked out what she wanted for her birthday. She is such a cutie!

Snow in St. George

The kids' disappointment at leaving the snow behind didn't last long! It started snowing here a couple hours after we got home. Definately a wetter snow than what was in Springville but they had fun.

Twilightmoms Slumber Party!

We had so much fun!

We ate, talked, laughed & laughed some more! In fact by the time we left Chuck-a-rama I had almost no voice left!
The morning after -- 13 of us spent the night at Amy's house! We stayed up way too late and woke up way too early.

In one of the special edition books there were tatoos included. We put them on...just for fun.
Amy was our fabulous hostess. Her house was in the middle of no where but it was the perfect place for all us crazy women!
Can you tell by my grin I enjoyed myself? It was so much fun!

So a special thanks to Shaun & Callie for keeping all 5 of my kids over night! The kids had so much fun playing in the snow. The were so disappointed when we were 10 miles from home and dropped down into St. George...all the snow disappeared.

In March I get to meet all the California Twilight Moms, at the end of April I get to see the Utah ones again at Women's Conference & in September there will be nearly 40 of us going to Forks, Washington together! Thank you Stephenie Meyer & Lisa Hansen for bringing us all together!
